Bio

“Growing up in Romania, where soccer is the number 1 sport, I was exposed to the game  at a very young age. As I was 5 years old , my daily regular routine consisted of countless hours of soccer in the streets with my friends. My love and passion for the game took off and I have been playing ever since at various levels all the way to the professional level . The “beautiful game” has provided me with irreplaceable memories and opportunities.

Throughout my soccer playing and coaching career I have had several influential  coaches ,teammates and role models who have inspired me to become a better player and coach myself.  Most importantly, they instilled confidence in me and always pushed me to give my best on and off the field. They taught me the importance of hard work , dedication and leadership, which are lifelong qualities that have made me successful in my playing and coaching career.I love playing entertaining soccer with my teams and I would rather have someone hit the crossbar than not shoot. For me one of the most important skills in life is common sense which I take to the highest level. I believe that true passion or love for the game is the driving force behind a player’s development on and off the pitch. I think that the young players need freedom of expression to develop as creative players and  they should be encouraged to try skills without fear of failure. My goal as a coach is to share my experience and  to inspire my players to become the best players they can be , to develop a strong, positive mentality and to be a positive role model for them in hopes that they will love the game forever.”
