success.
His formal playing career took shape at Morton East High School in Cicero, Illinois, where he

standout performance, field vision, and on-field leadership distinguished him as one of the top
players in the region.

program history. He became the first player to surpass 40 goals and 40 assists, finishing his
career with 54 goals and 48 assists. His impact led Dominican to multiple conference
championships and consistent appearances in the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer National
Tournament. In recognition of his exceptional accomplishments, Erik earned First Team All-
American honors and was also named Dominican University Student-Athlete of the Year,
highlighting his excellence both on and off the field.

adult leagues across Illinois, including the Chicago Latin American Soccer Association
