Bio
Raised in Chicago, Carlos developed his love for the game in the city’s Pilsen neighborhood, where he spent countless hours playing soccer at Harrison Park during his elementary school years. He went on to compete at the high school level at Saint Ignatius College Prep, playing under Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA) Hall of Famer and longtime head coach Jim Luzzi.
Following high school, Carlos shifted his focus toward academics and graduated from Xavier University in 2017. After completing his degree, he returned to competitive soccer and continued his playing career with Detroit Waza FC, a professional indoor soccer club based in Michigan. During his time with the Waza, Carlos scored his first professional career goal against the Chicago Mustangs and continued to develop his game under legendary coaches Mario and Dominic Scicluna.
Carlos is excited to join Celtics Soccer as a coach, where he brings his passion for the game and dedication to helping players reach their full potential.
