Brian Schrader Scholarship Fund

Brian Schrader was a bright, energetic, 13-year-old boy whose life ended too soon after a tragic accident. He loved many things, especially playing soccer for his Celtics team. To honor his memory, Celtics has set up a scholarship in his name. The scholarship fund is utilized solely for players who are in need of financial assistance.

Brian Schrader Scholarship relies exclusively on donations for its funding. Currently, the fund is at its lowest balance in many years. Celtics need your support with this initiative so we can continue to help those families and players in need and ensure that no child is denied the opportunity to join the Celtics and play soccer due to financial hardship.

Members of the First XI 2009 boys’ team are playing three exhibition games on Saturday, November 16 from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Grasshopper, in memory of Brian. Brian’s father, Henrick, will be refereeing the games.
