Oliver Mayer

Born in England, I have been playing soccer since I could first walk. I was fortunate enough to play through college at Western Michigan University, and still play in multiple leagues today. I joined as a coach with the LaGrange Celtics in 2019 to have the opportunity to teach the next generation of kids about the game, in hopes they too will develop a lifelong obsession with the sport. My coaching philosophy revolves around creating a fun, challenging environment that encourages kids to be brave and get out of their comfort zone to develop self-confidence both on and off the field.

I am a current LaGrange resident, where I live with my wife Hope (Coach Hope) and dog Lilly. We look forward to seeing fellow Celtics players and families in the community for years to come!
